Hi, I’m Auri, and for the past three years, I’ve been capturing life’s most beautiful moments through my lens. My journey into photography started with sports photography, simply because I wanted to preserve memories of my daughter Maria playing football and document the life of my son, Gabriel, as a disabled child. From there, photography became a way to capture the love, joy, and everyday beauty of our life as a family of four —together with our fluffy cat, Tommy, and our lovely dog, Max.

Auri, the Heart Behind Photo Paphos

What began as a personal passion soon evolved into something much greater. From sports, I expanded into events, music concerts, weddings, christenings, and even boudoir photography. I also love photographing corporate events, as they give me the opportunity to meet incredible people from all over the world and learn about their traditions, languages, and cultures.

As a photographer, I started with Canon, and I’m still a dedicated Canon fan today. My go-to cameras are the Canon R6 and Canon R6 Mark II, and with my collection of lenses—ranging from 16mm to 300mm—I can cover almost any focal length.

Photography was initially just a hobby, but my love for it grew, and I wanted to see if I could turn it into something more. While I’ve been a full-time web designer since 2012, running a small company with my amazing wife Alina, photography has become my second profession and true passion.

Auri, the Heart Behind Photo Paphos

For the past three seasons, I have had the privilege of being the photographer for Akritas Chlorakas FC, capturing the passion and dedication of the team. Whenever time allows, I also photograph Pafos FC, documenting their journey on and off the pitch. One of my greatest honors was being one of the photographers for the Champions League match of Pafos FC,  Cyprus vs. Romania match, as well as covering some of Pafos FC’s matches in the Europa League. Beyond professional football, I am always by my daughter's side, capturing the moments of her team, Pafos FC Ladies K18, from the Pafos FC Academy, as they grow and compete with determination.

My Equipments

Flashes and Lights

  • Just a basic Canon Speedlight 430EX II, i do not use flash a lot, i try to use the available light, since it gives a more natural look to the final photo.
  • Some small lights for efects and colours

  • Canon 85mm f1.8
  • Canon 300mm f2.8 L

Other "tools"

  • For some creative effects, I occasionally use a prism or small pieces of copper pipe to add unique light flares and reflections. The results? You'll have to see for yourself! 😊✨📸
